Chanelle Hardy, JD, National Urban League senior vice president for policy and executive director of the National Urban League Policy Institute, will be the keynote speaker at the For the Sake of All Community Conference Friday, May 30.
At the conference — the culmination of a yearlong, groundbreaking study of African-American health and well-being in the St. Louis region — researchers will issue a final report along with policy recommendations for the region. The event will take place just two weeks after the 60th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court decision Brown v. Board of Education, and five weeks prior to the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The conference is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and registration is required. It takes place from 8 a.m. to noon at the Missouri History Museum, 5700 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, Mo., 63112. Registration and a complete list of panelists and speakers is available here.
