Women’s Society hosts panel on postgrad life for women Oct. 29

The Women’s Society of Washington University is hosting a panel discussion and networking event, “Composing a Life,” that will feature five diverse women sharing their insights about life after college. The event will be from 5:45-8 p.m. Oct. 29 in Holmes Lounge, Ridgley Hall.

The goal of the evening is to prepare women for life beyond the university and provide opportunities to interact directly with successful women graduates in a relaxed and informal environment.

The 2013 panelists will consist of Reena Carroll, executive director of the Diversity Awareness Partnership; Abby Huang, manager of protein solutions at DuPont Nutrition & Health; Jill Powell, MD, adjunct associate professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine; Sharon Stahl, PhD, WUSTL vice chancellor for students; and Nancy Walsh, president, producer and performer for Clancy Productions Inc.

The event is free and open to all WUSTL graduate and undergraduate women, but attendees should RSVP online to ensure the event will have adequate food and seating.

The event’s website includes more details, such as past panelists, a photo gallery and a suggested reading list.

For more information or to submit questions for the panelists, contact the Women’s Society of Washington University at (314) 935-7337 or wswu@wustl.edu.
