Chancellor Andrew D. Martin will be one of the keynote speakers at the Anti-Defamation League’s “Never is Now” summit, an annual gathering focused on combating antisemitism and hate, Monday, March 3.

Fahd A. Ahmad, MD, and Tyler Fraum, MD, have been selected as the 2025-27 Carol B. and Jerome T. Loeb Teaching Fellows at WashU Medicine. 

WashU once again has been named a Fulbright Top Producing Institution for U.S. students. Last year, 12 students and recent alumni earned Fulbright awards to travel abroad to conduct research or to teach English.

Heath Rutledge-Jukes, 25, a second-year student at WashU Medicine, has earned a spot on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” education list.

Two WashU sophomores are among the 12 scholars chosen nationwide to participate in the Institute for Responsible Citizenship Washington Program, a highly selective initiative for talented Black male college students.  

Neuroscientist Juliet Mwirigi, a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Anesthesiology at WashU Medicine, has been named a Hanna H. Gray Fellow by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
