Coming off of a historic 2022-23 season, the Washington University in St. Louis women’s track and field team won the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s Program of the Year June 7.
The Bears are riding a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, a second-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships and, most recently, placed third at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
This is the fifth time in university history that the women’s track and field and cross country teams have earned the distinctive accolade. Read more on the WashU Athletics website.
