Eleven WashU research teams recently received Global Incubator Seed Grants to kick-start international projects.

Rachel Roberts, a professor of mathematics at Washington University in St. Louis, has been named a fellow of the American Mathematical Society for 2026.

Brian A. Van Tine, MD, PhD, a nationally recognized leader in sarcoma research at WashU Medicine, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital following an acute illness. He was 53.
