Nominate staff for Distinguished Honor Awards
It is again time to nominate deserving staff members for WashU’s Distinguished Honor Awards. The nomination deadline is March 20.
MIND program accepting proposals
The program in Microbial, Immunologic and Neurologic Disorders is accepting joint proposals from researchers at WashU Medicine and the Weizmann Institute of Science to execute collaborative research projects. Submissions are due March 31.
Applications open for Biggs Travel Award
WashU faculty and students are invited to apply for the Penelope Biggs Travel Award for travel involving the study of Greco-Roman antiquity. Applications are due Feb. 15.
Applications sought for Neuroprep Scholars program
Recent graduates, and undergraduate students who are close to graduating, can apply to be part of a two-year post-baccalaureate neuroscience program at WashU. Applications are due by March 9.
Submissions sought for data competition
The second annual WashU Data Viz competition is now open and accepting submissions until Jan. 25. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate.
Sumers Rec Center announces complimentary trial membership for WashU employees
WashU Recreation is launching a special five-week complimentary trial membership program starting Feb. 1 for WashU employees. It aims to encourage health and wellness among faculty and staff.
Civic Fellows applications open
The Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement is accepting applications for its Civic Fellows Program, an intensive 14-month program with a funded summer project.
Recycle old holiday lights on campus
WashU is again hosting a recycling drive for old or broken holiday lights. The annual drive runs through Jan. 16.
College Prep Program accepting applications
WashU is accepting applications for its innovative College Prep Program, a no-cost, multi-year program that prepares first-generation, limited-income students for college. CPP scholars take college courses, prepare for the ACT, learn about the financial aid process and visit nearby universities and cultural institutions.
