Libraries’ Scharff receives music group award

Mark Scharff, music cataloger at Washington University in St. Louis’ Gaylord Music Library, is the recipient of the Music Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) Users Group’s 2018 Distinguished Service Award.

The award was established to recognize and honor those who have made significant professional contributions to music users of OCLC.

“Through his years of tireless and devoted service to the profession, Mark’s name, voice and spirit have become synonymous with music cataloging,” according to the group.
