Jack Terschluse, who just earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in Arts & Sciences, with minors in leadership and history, received the university’s Grossman-Alexander Prize. The competitive award is presented each year to an outstanding graduating senior with an emphasis on American politics. Terschluse served as an associate justice on the Student Union Constitutional Council.

Alumna Susan Alexander of San Francisco, who earned a degree in political science in 1963, sponsors the prize. The Honors Committee awards the prize based on the quality of research papers submitted in the two semesters before graduation.

A St. Louis native, Terschluse plans to attend Washington University School of Law in fall 2016.
