Mary Ellen Joyce, PhD, executive director of Brookings Executive Education (BEE), recently has been elected a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA).
BEE is a partnership between the Brookings Institution and Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and provides leadership and policy education for those who work for or are engaged with the federal government.
NAPA is an independent nonprofit aimed at helping make government organizations more effective, efficient and accountable. Joyce is one of nearly 800 fellows including former Cabinet officers, members of Congress, governors, mayors, state legislators, prominent scholars and public administrators.
