Merl M. Huntsinger (BU 47), who retired from Washington University in St. Louis in 1981 as treasurer and secretary, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in a New Orleans hospital. He was 97. Huntsinger began his career at the university as an internal auditor immediately after graduating from Olin Business School. He became comptroller in 1967, was promoted to treasurer a year later, and took on the additional responsibility of secretary to the Board of Trustees in 1973. He retired in 1981.
