WashU recognized as a top workplace

Washington University in St. Louis has recently been recognized as a top workplace by several organizations. WashU won third place in the giant category in the St. Louis Business Journal’s annual “Best Places to Work” Awards.

The Bouchet Graduate Honor Society, established in 2005 by Yale University and Howard University to recognize outstanding scholarly achievement, recently inducted eight doctoral candidates and two postdoctoral fellows from Washington University.

Paid leave and employee well-being are the focus of a three-part policy series on family-friendly business practices put together by the Brown School’s Clark-Fox Policy Institute. “Creating a family-friendly workplace benefits both employees and businesses,” said Gary Parker, institute director.
