Free vehicle inspections offered Dec. 7

The Washington University Police Department and Parking Services, in partnership with Hartmann’s Towing, will offer a free vehicle inspection service for WUSTL students, faculty and staff from noon-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the lower level of Millbrook Garage.

Staff, assisted by the WUPD Bear Patrol, will check tire pressure, fluid levels, wipers, headlights and taillights. Local businesses have donated oil, windshield washer fluid and other materials so vehicles’ fluids can be topped off before travel.

“Too often, we all neglect to check our vehicles before taking off on a trip,” Police Chief Don Strom said. “This is a great, quick and easy opportunity for members of our campus community to get their vehicles inspected and help ensure they have a safe trip over the upcoming break.”
