Losos, Zorumski receive faculty achievement awards
Jonathan B. Losos, PhD, and Charles F. Zorumski, MD, are the recipients of Washington University in St. Louis’ 2025 faculty achievement awards, according to Chancellor Andrew D. Martin. They were among several people recognized during WashU’s annual Founders Day celebration.

Brian A. Van Tine, MD, PhD, a nationally recognized leader in sarcoma research at WashU Medicine, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital following an acute illness. He was 53.

Flags lowered in memory of Dick Cheney
The U.S. and university flags over Brookings Hall are lowered to half-staff in memory of former Vice President Dick Cheney. Cheney died Nov. 3 at age 84.
Box, OneDrive data storage limited
Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 5, WashU Information Technology is implementing a 1 TB storage quota on all WashU Box accounts and enforcing the current 1 TB quota on all OneDrive for Business accounts, which include Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
