WUPD active shooter training drill Thursday
The Washington University Police Department will conduct its biannual active shooter training exercise July 11 at the South Campus. The training exercise is not in response to a specific threat but is a proactive measure to ensure WUPD’s preparedness.

Staff leadership program applications due May 31
Washington University in St. Louis staff members are encouraged to apply for the Emerging Leaders Program or the Leadership Excellence and Development Program. The programs further the missions of WashU Leads and the “Here and Next” strategic plan. The deadline is May 31.
Dates for fall Workday Student transition activities set
Washington University in St. Louis will begin the transition to Workday Student, which replaces most student information systems, this fall. A variety of training sessions and other support will be available for faculty, staff and students.
Kweskin to retire as executive vice chancellor for finance, chief financial officer
Amy Kweskin, executive vice chancellor for finance and chief financial officer at Washington University in St. Louis, will retire from the university at the end of the calendar year, after 27 years of service, announced Chancellor Andrew D. Martin.

Washington University in St. Louis’ online directory will remain available after all. The university had announced plans to remove it May 1, but after additional analysis, administrators have determined it is required to conduct university business.
