Launched in 2007, WashU’s Alberti Program offers young people a hands-on introduction to architecture, a field rarely included in the K-12 curriculum. Students ask the same questions, use the same tools and build the same models as real-life architects.

Horacio Coppola and Grete Stern are pivotal figures in the art of 20th century Argentina. Beginning Sept. 9, the WashU Kemper Art Museum will explore their legacy as part of “Buenos Aires Modern, 1935–1950,” the first U.S. exhibition to examine how local, exile and immigrant artists adopted and transformed the aesthetics of international modernism.

Trustee and WashU alumna Vicki Match Suna has made a pledge to establish and endow the Carmon Colangelo Award for Creative Research and Innovation at the WashU Sam Fox School.
