Apply to the Civic Engagement Fund by Aug. 2

The Civic Engagement Fund supports civic engagement and community service projects throughout the year. Undergraduate, graduate, professional students, alums, faculty and staff are eligible to apply. Grants are available for both individuals and groups. Applications are due Aug. 2.

Whispers Café closes for renovations

Whispers Café will be closed to users and foot traffic through Aug. 1, so that a number of renovations can take place. When the café reopens for the start of the fall semester, students, faculty, and staff can expect a fresh look, with new menu boards and merchandise cases, a stronger system for moving people through the line quickly during peak hours, and a counter that allows for easier interaction between patrons and servers.

Putterman wins NCAA Division III Singles National Championship

Senior Adam Putterman captured the 2013 NCAA Division III Singles National Championship with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Mark Kahan of Amherst College May 25 at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Mich. The singles national championship is the second in school history.
