Eric Greitens (left) works with sophomore and campus ROTC member Sheila Mooney and other volunteers to prepare care packages for U.S. troops serving overseas following his Assembly Series presentation March 30. The former Navy SEAL and Rhodes Scholar was on campus to speak about The Mission Continues, the organization he founded following his Navy career that provides career service opportunities for wounded and injured veterans. Among the volunteers putting together packages were members of the Washington University Military Care Package group, which collects and sends parcels to our military men and women on a regular basis, and staff from the Gephardt Institute for Public Service, the co-sponsor of the event.
