Washington University will host a public hearing and conference March 4-6 to gather input and set priorities for federally funded women’s health research.
The National Institutes of Health is seeking public testimony from scientists, health-care providers, patients, community groups, advocacy groups and any interested parties at the March 4 hearing. To submit oral or written testimony, an online form detailing remarks must be completed by Feb. 20. The form can be found at orwhmeetings.com/newdirections/testimony.aspx.
The hearing kicks off the conference, which will bring together U.S. physicians, scientists and public-policy officials to generate new ideas and initiatives for research on women’s health.
The conference is free and open to the WUSTL community and the public, but registration is required. To register and find more information, visit research.wustl.edu/womenshealth.
The kickoff begins at 2 p.m. with opening remarks and a panel discussion in the Eric P. Newman Education Center on the Medical School Campus. Public testimony will begin immediately afterward.
