As of June 1, Parking and Transportation Services has moved to open park operations. Parking is complimentary in visitor and yellow designated parking spaces. Normal operations will resume Aug. 16.

The McDonnell International Scholars Academy recently issued a call for proposals for its new Global Incubator Seed Grants Fund. Proposals are due by July 1.

The university’s future human resources and financial administrative system, called Workday, will launch July 1 as part of the multiyear MyDay program. Employees can begin learning everything they need to know and do ahead of the launch.

Washington University is ending its Doctor of Liberal Arts (DLA) program in University College, administrators announced this week. The university has been reimagining University College with an eye to shifting its focus to serve the St. Louis region and provide continuing education.

The Office of Human Resources is offering a virtual four-part class for staff titled “Creating Habits That Stick.” Each session lasts an hour; the first will be May 27.

As the academic year winds down, it’s time again for students to move out for the summer. The Office of Sustainability, along with several campus partners, has organized a move-out donation program, “Share Our Stuff,” to keep reusable goods out of landfills.

Parking & Transportation Services provides updates on parking and traffic flow plans for spring Commencement events, which will take place May 20, 21 and 30.

Following a collaborative, cross-campus process, 13 companies have been selected to offer branded clothing and other promotional items for the Washington University community starting July 1.
