Macias appointed director of student leader development for Leaders Academy
Julia Macias, associate dean for the Office of Scholar Programs, has been appointed director of student leader development for the George and Carol Bauer Leaders Academy, effective May 1, according to Anna Gonzalez, vice chancellor for student affairs.

Ju named Morriss Professor
Neurologist Yo-El Ju, MD, a physician-scientist whose discoveries have illuminated the complex relationship between sleep and neurodegenerative disease, has been named an inaugural Barbara Burton and Reuben M. Morriss III Professor at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
