The Sam Fox School will present its 93rd Annual Fashion Design Show April 30 in Holmes Lounge. One of the oldest such shows in the nation, the event will feature dozens of models wearing scores of outfits that explore themes of sustainability, accessibility, structure and more.
Sam Fox School, Pulitzer Arts Foundation name Voraakhom designer-in-residence
Internationally celebrated landscape architect Kotchakorn Voraakhom will serve a yearlong appointment as designer-in-residence for the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.
Voraakhom is founder of the Bangkok-based design firm Landprocess as well as the nonprofit Porous City Network.
Sam Fox School to bestow Awards for Distinction
Architecture firm KieranTimberlake will receive the Dean’s Medal for outstanding service to the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts April 21 as part of the school’s 2022 Awards for Distinction ceremony, which will be held virtually April 21.
Sam Fox School announces 2022 Stone & DeGuire Contemporary Art Awards
Artists Margaux Crump, Alison McNulty and Yvonne Osei have each won the 2022 Stone & DeGuire Contemporary Art Awards. The awards are presented by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. Winners will receive $25,000 each to advance their studio practices.

She is a Taiwanese-American illustrator who has worked with The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and The Economist. Kuo has also taught illustration courses at Washington University.
