Thurtene Carnival delights students, alumni and St. Louisans

Washington University in St. Louis’ annual student-run carnival has been thrilling students (and prospective students) since 1907.

Despite some Sunday showers, weather was clear and beautiful for most of Thurtene Carnival.

Sophomores Carson Gaines (left) and Aditya Shah, both brothers of Zeta Beta Tau, grilled burgers and hot dogs and deep-fried Snickers and Twix candy bars at the fraternity’s popular food booth.

Thurtene facades featured student writers, actors and singers.
