WHAT: Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition (SEIC) Awards. More than 40 non-profit ventures entered the competition last fall. Tonight five finalists remain with $150,000 in seed money at stake. All of the ventures are dedicated to creating enterprises that boost the regional economy by creating jobs and in many cases reduce government costs for social programs.

WHERE: Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis May Auditorium, Simon Hall at Forsyth and Olympian Way
WHO: Nationally-recognized social entrepreneur Bill Strickland will participate in Q&A with students and entrepreneurs prior to awards ceremony. He will be available for media interviews at reception at 6 p.m. Five finalists and winners in competition will also be available for interviews at reception immediately following ceremony.
