Social work students to host international festival Saturday, March 31

WHAT: 13th annual International Festival — “Connecting Cultures”

WHEN: Saturday, March 31

International Banquet and Art Exhibition: 5-6:30 p.m. in the Rettner Gallery and Room 301 of the Lab Sciences Building

Entertainment: 7:30-9:00 p.m. in Room 300 of the Lab Sciences Building

WHERE: Washington University’s Lab Sciences Building

Directions: Take Forest Park Parkway west and turn left onto Throop. Make an immediate right and park in the first covered parking lot on the right. Take the stairs up to campus and take a right. The Lab Sciences Building is just past the Women’s Building.

WHO: George Warren Brown School of Social Work students from various countries will offer a taste of their homelands through traditional foods and lively entertainment.

WHY: The International festival offers St. Louis a colorful and informative look at many countries from around the world. In addition to the international banquet, the students will perform dance, song and poetry from their homelands.
