Online Record launched, new deadlines in place

The Office of Public Affairs launched this week the Record/Monday and Record/Thursday, two new electronic issues of the University’s faculty, staff and student newspaper. Members of the WUSTL community now will receive these issues by e-mail every Monday and Thursday morning.

In addition to serving as the comprehensive source for official University announcements, these timely editions will contain news of research, scholarship and accomplishments; feature stories highlighting faculty, staff and students; human resources, benefits and other important information; updates on transportation, parking and construction projects; as well as articles and calendar listings of special events, concerts, lectures and happenings of interest to the WUSTL community.

To accommodate these new electronic issues, the publishing schedule of the print version of the Record has changed. Record newspaper issues now are dated on Thursdays instead of Fridays. The deadline for “University Events” submissions is noon on Thursdays seven days prior to the publication date. The Record newspaper is printed weekly throughout the academic year, except school holidays, and monthly during June, July and August.
