Tobacco-free WUSTL Web site launches

All campuses to be tobacco-free beginning July 1

The university is launching a new Web site that will serve as the hub of information about the tobacco-free policy across all campuses.

Beginning July 1, smoking and tobacco use will be prohibited in university-owned and -managed properties.

Information about the university’s tobacco-free initiative and all of the free cessation programs available to students, faculty and staff who wish to quit is available at wustl.edu/tobaccofree.

Frequently asked questions, a feedback form, a tobacco-free campus map and helpful links also are available.

In an effort to help spread the word about the tobacco-free initiative, promotional materials and the tobacco-free logo are available for download off the site. Posters and information cards will be available for download later this semester.
