Free HIV testing

The Washington University Infectious Diseases Clinic will offer free, confidential HIV testing. In conjunction with National HIV Testing Day, testing is available from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 30-Dec. 3. No appointment is necessary. Participants will receive a rapid HIV test using a finger-prick blood sample. Results will be available 20 minutes after testing.

Early diagnosis helps to ensure the best possible health outcomes and treatment options. The free testing offered by the clinic is funded, in part, by a CDC grant. Anyone testing positive will be connected with a free Linkage to Care service, which provides education, support and referrals to HIV medical care. Those who are uninsured may receive medical care at the University’s Infectious Diseases clinic through a Ryan White grant.
