A group of 19 students from Spelman College came to Washington University Oct. 19 to learn about graduate programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The DBBS Diversity Programs and Community Outreach Office hosted the visit, which was sponsored by an anonymous donor interested in the advancement of underrepresented groups in the sciences.
