World-renowned mathematician

Weiss, a faculty member since 1961, is a world-renowned mathematician and teacher whose influence and impact has affected generations of students and mathematicians. One of the world’s outstanding analysts, Weiss has served as mathematics department chair, on many committees and in the Faculty Council and Faculty Senate Council.
