Edwin Dodson, M.D., professor of neurology and of pediatrics, helps medical student Seth Bloom put on his new lab coat at the School of Medicine’s White Coat Ceremony held Aug. 13 at the Eric P. Newman Educational Center. Dodson and Will Ross, M.D., associate dean for diversity programs and assistant professor of medicine, presented the 123 first-year students of the Class of 2008 with their white coats, long a symbol of the medical profession.
