Washington University in St. Louis has announced that Leading Together: The Campaign for Washington University is expected to reach its initial, minimum goal of $2.2 billion two years ahead of schedule. A memorial service to honor Nobel Prize-winning economist Douglass C. North, PhD, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in Graham Chapel. A reception will follow in Holmes Lounge, Ridgley Hall. North died in November.
