Commuter challenge begins Monday
The Sustainability, Parking & Transportation and Operations & Facilities Management offices will host a universitywide commuter challenge from Monday, April 18, through Friday, April 29. Those who use sustainable transportation methods during that time can enter raffles to win prizes.

Flags lowered in memory of Albright
The U.S. and university flags over Brookings Hall are lowered to half-staff in memory of former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright until sunset Sunday, March 27. Albright died March 23 at age 84.
Primary care practice dedicated to employees
The university is reminding employees about WUCare, a dedicated primary care physician practice offered exclusively to WashU employees enrolled in the university-sponsored health plan.
Emergency communication test April 1
Washington University will test its emergency communication system at 10 a.m. Friday, April 1. During the test, WashUAlerts will send emails, voice calls and text messages.
Equity and Inclusion Council seeks new members
Washington University’s Equity and Inclusion Council (WUEIC), established in 2020, is seeking members at large for the upcoming academic year. Nominations are being accepted until April 17; applications are due May 1.
E-waste recycling, paper shredding March 22 and 29
The Office of Sustainability will be hosting electronic waste recycling drives and confidential paper shredding services at the Danforth and Medical campuses March 22 and 29.
Apply to join Danforth Staff Council
The Danforth Staff Council seeks new members. The council advocates for Danforth Campus staff members with university administrators. Nominations are open Monday, March 14, through April 1.
