Washington University has acquired three electric shuttles as part of its Danforth Campus fleet. The shuttles will be on display at the Earth Day Festival in Forest Park April 22-23.

As part of Active Transportation Month in April, the Sustainability, Parking & Transportation, and Operations & Facilities Management offices are hosting commuter fairs and a commuter challenge to encourage low-carbon means of transportation. 

Washington University faculty, staff and students are encouraged to explore and use WashUReuse. The platform promotes peer-to-peer sharing of unwanted items such as equipment, supplies and furniture, reducing costs and keeping items out of landfills. 

Parking and Transportation Services is preparing for campus events this spring, such as the Thurtene carnival and Active Transportation Month in April, and wants the community to be aware of potential parking impacts.

The U.S. and university flags over Brookings Hall are lowered to half-staff until sunset Friday, March 31, as a mark of respect for those killed in the shooting March 27 in Nashville, Tenn.
