As they say, some memories never fade. Here, alumni designers illustrate one of of their favorites and captivate with their college recollections.

The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum at Washington University has received a $75,000 grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc. to support a major new installation by artist Nicole Miller.

The Midwest Climate Summit recently announced the winners of its multimedia art competition, Climate Stories.

Cartoonist Lauren Weinstein and multimedia artist Paula Wilson have won the 2021 Stone & DeGuire Contemporary Art Awards. Presented by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, the awards are open to alumni of the school’s Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts programs. Each winner receives $25,000 to advance their studio practice.

In a new solo exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis, alumna Ebony G. Patterson explores beauty, tragedy and what lies beneath it all.

Monika Weiss, associate professor of art, will discuss the work of Spanish painter Francisco Goya, as well as her own transdisciplinary practice, for The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
