Michael Wysession, professor of earth and planetary sciences in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, recently was appointed editor-in-chief of Perspectives of Earth and Space Scientists, a new peer-reviewed journal from the American Geophysical Union.

Danforth Campus staff town hall April 29

Staff from the Danforth Campus and Central Fiscal Unit (CFU) departments are invited to attend a virtual town hall meeting from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. The event will focus on the university’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including the impact on staff and operations on the Danforth Campus and within the CFU.

Center for the Humanities awards grants

The Center for the Humanities in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis recently made 19 awards to faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the humanities and humanistic social sciences for its program of faculty seminars, reading groups and writing groups.

Gronowski given clinical chemistry award

University Libraries holding virtual book club

Brunt receives award from liver pathology society

Elizabeth M. Brunt, MD, professor emerita of pathology and immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to Liver Pathology from the Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society.
