Law professor Martin installed as Nagel Chair

Chair of Constitutional Law and Political Science.
Commencement celebrations begin Wednesday
Beginning Wednesday, May 15, more than a dozen
distinguished individuals will speak at Commencement-related events for
graduates and their friends and families. The weeklong celebration culminates at 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, with the 152nd Commencement ceremony in Brookings Quadrangle.
Washington University Day at Circus Flora
The Washington University in St. Louis Alumni Association is hosting “Washington University Day at Circus Flora” at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8. Join WUSTL faculty, staff, alumni, family and friends as Circus Flora presents “A Trip to the Moon” in the big-top tent in Grand Center (in a parking lot adjacent to Powell Hall).

William Greenleaf Eliot Society Annual Dinner. Students are invited to a
Q&A session with McChrystal April 30. Due to limited space, there is a lottery to attend this event. Location will be announced in the confirmation email.
WUSTL celebrates Earth Week April 22-26
WUSTL is celebrating Earth Day Monday, April 22, and many sustainability-themed events are planned for the week of April 22-26 on the Danforth and Medical campuses. On Monday, there with be an Earth Week Kickoff in Edison Courtyard and a climate change panel discussion featuring faculty from across the university.

PB&Joy drive ends today
Today is the final day for PB&Joy, a university-wide initiative, in partnership with Operation Food Search, to collect food for the 135,000 area children who struggle for consistent meals over summer when school is out. It’s not to late to take part. There are many food drop-off locations across WUSTL’s four campuses and it’s also possible to make contributions online.
Obituary: Rabbi James S. Diamond, 74
Rabbi James S. Diamond, former executive director of Hillel at Washington University in St. Louis, died March 28, 2013, in a traffic accident in Princeton, N.J., where he lived. He was 74.
