Three WashU playwrights — Maddy Klass, Bela Marcus and Charlie Meyers — will present world-premiere staged readings as part of the 2023 A.E. Hotchner Playwriting Festival.

Multi-omics leverages the power of several different “omics” data types at once to build a detailed picture of factors that contribute to human health and disease. Vikas R. Dharnidharka, MD, a professor of pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, has been installed as the Alexis F. Hartmann Sr., MD, Professor of Pediatrics. He was installed in August on the Medical Campus. 

A multi-institutional research project led by Todd Braver, a professor of psychological and brain sciences in Arts & Sciences, received an $8.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense to study attention control and strategies to improve it.
