Acclaimed architect Daniel Libeskind met with architecture students and faculty from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts to discuss the role of drawing in his practice.
The conversation centered on a pair of artist’s books he created in the early 1980s. Copies of Chamber works: architectural meditations on themes from Heraclitus (1983) and Theatrum mundi: through the green membranes of space (1985) are both included in the collection of WUSTL’s Kranzberg Art & Architecture Library.
Libeskind was on campus to discuss “The Future of Cities” as part of the Assembly Series. The visit was cosponsored by the Sam Fox School and the Architecture Student Council.
