Crews begin to demolish the exterior of Wohl Student Center the morning of June 15. Dedicated in 1960, the Wohl Center was located in the heart of the South 40 and housed Bear’s Den, Center Court dining facilities, student mailboxes and other student services and hangouts. A new building just to the north of the Wohl Center’s former location will open this fall and will contain kitchen and dining facilities and private dining rooms. There also will be three floors of housing for upperclass students.
