The Immigration Experience: Case Study in St. Louis

Washington University’s International & Area Studies Program and the Sigma Iota Rho International Studies honorary society are hosting a town hall meeting titled “The Immigrant Experience: Case Study St. Louis” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 in Umrath Lounge. Expert panelists include Sunita Parikh, Ph.D., associate professor of political science in Arts & Sciences; Joan Suarez, J.D., of the Immigrant Rights Action Task Force; and Alvaro Briones, a recent immigrant from Nicaragua.

The event will include 15 minute presentations by each of the panelists followed by a question and answer session with the audience. A reception will follow. For more information, call 680-7359.
