The following incidents were reported to University Police Oct. 26-Nov. 1. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. Oct. 27

7:49 p.m. — A cash box belonging to the Ashoka Indian Student Association was left unattended at 5:30 p.m. at the east-end computers located in Whispers Café. Upon the students’ return at 7:20 p.m., the cash box was missing. No suspects or witnesses could be located. Total loss is valued at $320.

Nov. 1

9:30 a.m. — A staff member in the George Warren Brown School of Social Work reported unknown person(s) stole two bags and a cell phone from his unlocked office between 8:45-9:05 a.m. The bags contained a laptop and two voice recorders that belonged to the school. The bags also contained some personal items.

Additionally, University Police responded to five larcenies, two reports each of property damage, disturbance and auto accident, and one report each of fraud and arson.
