Distinguished faculty

Beata Grant, Ph.D., receives a Distinguished Faculty Award from Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton at the Founders Day event Oct. 2 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel. Grant is professor of Chinese language and literature in the Department of Asian and Near Eastern Languages and Literatures, and director of the Religious Studies Program, both in Arts & Sciences. This year’s other Distinguished Faculty Award winners were Thomas M. De Fer, Nicholas Dopuch and Milorad P. Dudukovic.
