More than 375 participants representing 26 countries will convene for the 4th International Conference on Systems Biology (ICSB) Nov. 5-9 at the Eric P. Newman Education Center.
“Systems biology is a discipline emerging from the current revolution in genome sciences, proteomics and computational biology,” said Jeffrey I. Gordon, M.D., the Dr. Robert J. Glaser Distinguished University Professor and head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Pharmacology.
“It requires an evolution of our social and educational structures so members of different disciplines can effectively bridge traditional cultural, linguistic, conceptual and experimental boundaries. The ICSB is designed to create such an interdisciplinary forum.”
