Medical School WUSTLnomics forum May 27
Faculty and staff at Washington University School of Medicine are invited to a WUSTLnomics forum and brown-bag lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27. The forum, the focus of which will be the university’s efficiency efforts, will be in Moore Auditorium, on the first floor of the North Building.

University will anchor new CORTEX building
Washington University will be the anchor tenant in a $73 million laboratory and research facility projected to open at the end of the year in the CORTEX bioscience district. Washington University’s Village East apartments certified LEED Silver

The Village East is the first LEED-certified residence hall and third LEED-certified building on the university’s Danforth Campus.
Henry Webber named executive vice chancellor for administration
Henry S. Webber, vice president for community and government affairs at the University of Chicago, will become WUSTL’s executive vice chancellor for administration, announced Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton. Webber’s appointment will be effective March 1, 2008. Webber will be the University’s chief administrative officer and oversee facilities, campus planning, capital projects, campus security and off-campus real estate acquisition and development.
