Five student-athletes earned individual University Athletic Association titles to lead the Bears to a sweep of the men’s and women’s team conference championships Feb. 26 at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York. The No. 24 men’s basketball team scored the last 11
points of the game and clinched the 2012 University Athletic Association

The No. 3 men’s tennis team defeated NCAA
Division II No. 19 Drury University 5-4 Feb. 12 at the Creve Coeur
Racquet Club in Creve Coeur, Mo. The victory over Drury was the Bears

Sports update Feb. 6: Men’s basketball picks up big win at Emory
The No. 25 men’s basketball team snapped No. 17 Emory University’s 17-game home winning streak with a 92-83 victory Feb. 5 in Atlanta. The
victory enabled WUSTL, who lost Feb. 3 at the University of Rochester,
to remain in a tie for first place in the University Athletic

Sports update Jan. 30: Men’s basketball in first place in UAA
Men’s basketball picked up two big wins over the University of Rochester and Emory University and gained first place in University Athletic Association standings. Updates also included on women’s basketball, track and field, and women’s soccer team fundraiser.
Sports update Jan. 23: Buzzer-beater keeps WUSTL women’s basketball on a roll
The seventh-ranked women’s basketball team erased a 10-point second-half deficit, and a second-chance basket at the buzzer by senior Brianne Monahan gave the Bears a 51-49 home victory over New York University Jan. 22. Sports update Jan. 17: Track teams fare well in opening meet
The indoor track and field teams combined to win six events, and senior Elizabeth Phillips set a school record in the women’s 600 meters Jan. 14 at the Titan Opener at Illinois Wesleyan University. Updates also included on men’s and women’s basketball and swimming & diving.

Senior Dylan Richter scored 20 points and sophomore Tim Cooney tied a career-high with 19 points as the men’s basketball team opened University Athletic Association (UAA) play with a 79-72 victory over the University of Chicago Jan 7. at the WU Field House.
