for the track & field teams at the NCAA Division III Men’s and
Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 24-26 in Claremont,

Sports update May 14: Baseball gets bid to NCAA tournament
The baseball team was one of 56 teams selected to
compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III baseball championship, and will
travel to Millington, Tenn., to compete in regional play
Wednesday through Sunday, May 16-20. Updates also included on women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis and track & field.
Sports update April 30: Men’s track wins conference title
The men’s track & field team won its fourth-consecutive University Athletic Association (UAA) outdoor title, while the WUSTL women finished as the runner-up for the second year in a row on the final day of the 2012 UAA Outdoor Championships April 29.
Sports update April 16: Men’s tennis wins sixth straight match
The No. 17 men’s tennis team ran its winning streak to six matches with a 7-2 win at No. 30 University of Chicago April 15. The Bears improved their overall record to 12-5 and picked up their fifth win this season over a ranked team. Updates also included on baseball and softball, track & field, women’s golf and women’s tennis.
Sports update April 9: Sophomore sets new WUSTL pole vault record
Sophomore Anna Etherington set a school record in the
pole vault as one of eight event champions for the WUSTL track &
field team April 7 at the WU Select Meet. Updates also included on baseball, softball and men’s and women’s tennis.
Sports update April 2: Baseball wins 20th game
The baseball team recorded 24 hits, including 10 for extra bases, as the Bears earned their 20th win of the season — and 8th in a row — with a 25-13 victory over St. Norbert College April 1 at Kelly Field. Updates also included on softball, men’s tennis, track & field and women’s golf.

The baseball team won all five games last week to improve its overall record to 17-6 on the season. Updates also included on softball, men’s tennis, swimming & diving, track & field and women’s golf.

The No. 21 softball team secured a second-place
finish at the 2012 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship
Tournament with a split in the final two games March 17 in Altamonte

Sports update March 12: Baseball wins ninth straight
After starting the season with three straight losses, the baseball team earned its ninth consecutive win to improve its record to 9-3 overall, 2-0 in UAA play. The victory over Brandeis matched the longest winning streak for the Bears since 2007. Updates also included on men’s and women’s track, softball, tennis and golf.
Sports update March 5: Basketball teams fall in NCAA second round
Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams saw their seasons come to an end with losses in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Updates also included on baseball, softball, women’s tennis, track and field and swimming and diving.
