Seed money for a start-up company totaling $70,000 will be awarded tonight when the winner of the annual Olin Cup investment prize is announced at 6 p.m. in Graham Chapel on the Washington University campus.
The annual Youth Day will be held during the men’s and women’s home basketball games Feb. 8 at the Athletic Complex. The event will feature the WUSTL bear, WUSTL cheerleaders, autographs from team members, photos, face painting and JJ Jumper, the NCAA mascot.
The installation of a closed-circuit television system on the Greenway Walk began Feb. 2, announced Don Strom, chief of Washington University Police. The Greenway Walk pedestrian walkway is located in University City between Melville and Westgate avenues, north of the Forest Park Parkway overpass connecting the Danforth Campus to University City. Cameras also are being installed on Melville Avenue from Kingsbury Boulevard to Washington Avenue.
