Jennifer Sloop, LW98, was named senior director of legal recruiting and integration at the national law firm Quarles & Brady. She is based in the firm’s recently opened St. Louis office. Sloop leads the legal recruiting department, setting its strategic direction and objectives, while maintaining and strengthening its culture, diversity and quality standards.

Christine (Galofre) Allen, BU98, opened a new school building for Ark of the Rainbow, a school in India that she co-founded to help families overcome extreme poverty and prevent human trafficking.

David Taylor, EN98, SI02, SI02, SI04, was named CEO of Exegy, a provider of market data, execution systems and advanced trading technology. Taylor is a veteran executive who has served in product strategy and engineering roles.

Karen Sutton, SW98, operates Brighter Futures Now, LLC, a behavioral health private practice in Decatur, Ga., that provides therapeutic intervention focused on children and families. Sutton has more than 20 years of combined social welfare, direct practice and managed care experience.

Jim Watson, LW98, retired in early 2022 after 21 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During his last seven years with the FBI, Watson served as general counsel in Indiana. In May 2022, he joined Ice Miller, LLC as a partner, concentrating his practice on cybersecurity, data privacy and investigations.

Karen Anne (Soberg) Wallach, BU98, completed her PhD in marketing at Emory University Goizueta Business School in spring 2021. Her research focused on the intersection of branding and corporate social responsibility/sustainability. Prior to joining the doctoral program, Wallach worked in brand management, product development, advertising and market research.
