Mark Buckles, LA95, is special counsel in the Executive Office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Prior to this appointment, he served one year as deputy general counsel and one year as acting general counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

Mark Pottinger, LA95, is associate professor of musicology and chair of the Department of Music and Theater at Manhattan College in New York City. The department recently implemented a new program in sound studies that combines the science of sound — acoustics, sound production and digital audio recording — with music theory and musicology.

Carlos Narváez-Hasfura, GL95, GL97, managing partner of Jurídicanh Abogados in Mexico, was recently named president of the Iberoamerican Association of Privacy Law.

Adam Elegant, LA95, joined Baker Street Advisors, a boutique investment and wealth advisory firm in San Francisco. Founded in 2004 by Goldman Sachs alumni, the firm manages $9.5 billion for some 300 families. Previously, Elegant worked 19 years with Goldman Sachs and KKR. He lives in Kentfield, Calif., with his wife and three children.
