Juba receives NSF grant to improve decision-making of autonomous vehicles

Brendan Juba, a researcher at the McKelvey School of Engineering, is working to improve the way autonomous vehicles make decisions and the way they relay that information. Jackrel’s lab discovers information on proteins in sarcoma and liposarcoma, findings that can combat disease

Researchers in the laboratory of Meredith Jackrel, assistant professor of chemistry in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, discovered that proteins implicated in Ewing’s sarcoma and liposarcoma can be dissolved by protein disaggregases, a finding that could be used to combat disease.
